Stuart

Today was a rough day. I had to make the choice of if my dog Stuart should be put down or not. Due to a spinal disease he was almost fully paralyzed from the waist down. I tried to decide what was best for him, and in the end I made the choice to end his misery. That big black "What if" cloud has been hanging over my head all day. Did I make the right decision? Stuart was there for me through so many things in my life. He was my first "baby". And when my son was born, Stuart loved him right away. He always laid next to Qs bouncy seat as if he was protecting him. My heart aches, I will miss him forever.

Parenting Fail

Quyntin may only be 9 months but he already knows what he likes. Mcdonalds fries are definitely on that list. Parenting fail? But how do you say no to this face?
My sister Kimmie has a son that is 3 weeks younger than Q. She only gives Nixon organic food. So obviously we had to sneak him some fries when she wasn't looking. Don't worry her husband Jake was totally on board. After trying them, Nixon was also on board.

Quyntin's first Thanksgiving.

For Quyntin's first Thanksgiving we came to Palm Springs to be with some family. He did so great on the flight, especially considering there was a screaming baby across the isle. Q just ate his puffs and stared at her like the true people watcher that he is. Three days after arriving in California my poor baby ended up in the instacare with an ear infection. By the next day he was feeling a lot better, just in time for turkey and mashed potatoes. Immediately followed by a 3 hour nap. Looks like I'm not the only one that gets sleepy after all that food.
